Three weeks ago, a dear friend of the family passed away. Humbly, I had the great honor of giving an eulogy at her memorial service.
I am saddened by her departure; I'm crestfallen to see her family grieve. And yet my heart is happy because of a life well lived—a life full of love and fun.
The passing of loved ones is cause for pause and reflection on how each of us live this journey of life. Sentiments that help center me and sentiments I pass along to other leaders in my keynote speaking are found in The Station by Robert Hastings.
In episode 047 of my leadership podcast, hear the story of how my son reminded me that there is no one station on our leadership journey—the journey is the joy.
The Station is so deeply meaningful to me on my leadership journey, I created a printable pdf for you to print and display, to help you internalize the sentiments of the poem, and create a rhythm of the journey being the joy.
